We had a delightful stay at this quirky eco-friendly accommodation. The location was idyllic, with a balcony overlooking a wooded valley. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean with a good shower. The breakfast provided was tasty, and the local staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Despite some minor inconveniences, like a lack of lights and power sockets in the room, we enjoyed our time at the Ecolodge. I highly recommend this unique getaway.

Stayed in a quaint treehouse with jungle views, enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the balcony. Staff was soooo welcoming and attentive, really made me feel like a queen. They even provided shuttle services, how convenient!
Had a lovely time, but the noisy bed was just music to my ears, so melodic. Couldn't get enough of it.

Spent Christmas here and had a great time! the host was super friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. the terrace had the most amazing view of the jungle, and we loved waking up to the sounds of birds and monkeys. the breakfast prepared by the host was absolutely delicious, with a variety of Sri Lankan specialties and fresh fruit. the location was perfect, just a short walk from town but still secluded enough to feel like you're in the middle of nature. We also appreciated the eco-friendly practices of the lodge, making it a great choice for environmentally conscious travelers.
There was no Wi-Fi available during our stay, and the lack of a top sheet made us a bit uncomfortable. it would have been convenient if there was a bedside switch to turn off the lights.

The rooms at Ella Ecolodge are super cozy and comfortable, with premium bedding and 24-hour room service. The private bathrooms are equipped with a refreshing shower and free toiletries. I really loved the simple furnishings, including the mosquito net, clothes rack, and seating area. The twin/double room even had a lovely patio and the rooms had private furnished balconies.
For me, the only thing I didn't quite like was the presence of a mosquito net. But hey, that's just my personal opinion, and I know others might appreciate it.

The tree house concept was a unique and fun experience, surrounded by nature. the location was key, with just a short 7-minute walk to the main town. - We enjoyed the delicious breakfast served in the hut, it was a great way to start the day.
The staff was quite unfriendly and unhelpful, leaving us feeling unwelcome. There was no reception or main area, which made the check-in process confusing.

I had the most incredible experience staying at the Ecolodge in Ella. The setting was absolutely stunning, surrounded by lush jungle and beautiful trees. I felt completely immersed in nature. The breakfast provided was a delight, with an array of fresh fruit that was simply heavenly. The staff at the lodge were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Despite the monkeys being mischievous, they added a touch of authenticity to the whole experience. I only wish I had stayed longer to fully enjoy everything the lodge had to offer. I highly recommend this unique and wonderful place to stay.

Dark and slippery pathway at night.

During our stay at Ella Ecolodge, we were seeking a quiet escape in nature. The beautifully made hut allowed us to feel secluded while still being close to downtown Ella. The bathroom was also impressive, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. One of the highlights was encountering monkeys playing in the trees and even on our balcony. Sampath, the kind-hearted owner, ensured we had a warm welcome and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. A minor suggestion for improvement would be adding extra lights in the room due to its location in the woods.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.
